The DSC Unkris Coresharing initiative was a month-long series of workshops designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the MSIB program. Led by experienced alumni from MSIB batches 5 and 6, these sessions covered a wide range of topics, from crafting compelling CVs to acing technical interviews. Week 1: Navigating the MSIB Application Process The program kicked off with a deep dive into the MSIB application process. Participants gained valuable insights into the registration procedures and requirements. A seasoned UI/UX designer from MSIB Batch 5 shared their experiences working in the industry and provided practical tips for aspiring designers. Week 2: Cracking the Diversity Test and Mastering Technical Skills Week two focused on the diversity test, a crucial component of the MSIB selection process. Additionally, alumni front-end and back-end developers imparted their expertise, offering hands-on advice to aspiring software engineers. Week 3: Crafting a Standout CV and Building Mobile Apps Participants learned how to create a professional and impactful CV that catches recruiters' attention. A mobile developer from MSIB Batch 5 shared their journey and provided valuable insights into mobile app development. Week 4: Interview Success and Data Analysis The final week culminated in a comprehensive session on interview techniques. Alumni data analysts shared their experiences and provided tips on how to excel in technical interviews. By the end of the Coresharing program, participants were well-prepared to embark on their MSIB journey and pursue careers in the tech industry. The initiative aimed to foster a supportive community and provide students with the tools they needed to succeed.
